Warranty Policy


  1. Warranty service begins upon transfer of unit from construction to management and ends as described in contract documents.
  2. Prior to warranty service request, community maintenance must verify legitimacy of request by completing the below check list:
    1. All electrical services are functioning and in the ON position.
    2. System controls are set to the desired function/position.
    3. System filter is not clogged or obstructed.
    4. Verify resident complaint is accurate.
    5. Verify any post construction or owner provided controls are programed correctly and functioning.
  3. Insight reserves the right to apply applicable service charges to any warranty claim which is determined to be false or was not verified as described above. (See item 2).
  4. Warranty Service response times are defined as follows:
    1. Emergency: Temperatures above 90 or below 50 must be responded to within 24 business hours of receipt of service request email.
    2. Non-emergency: Must be responded to within 72 business hours of service request email.
  5. Warranty response guidelines are for service response and do not define service completion. Insight will not always have control of availability of warranty components. Availability of components will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
  6. In the event of a system failure which is, or will, cause damage to the finish or structure of the apartment or building, it is the responsibility of the discovering party to take any necessary steps to mitigate further or continued damage. 
  7. Temporary cooling or heating such as portable AC/ heat units or other accommodation such as hotels shall not be provided by Insight AC.
  8. All warranty requests must be made via email or the form above with a brief description of the complaint and any notes from the maintenance staff which might have been made while performing their due diligence. Send email to WarrantyService@Insight-AC.com.
